Initial Situation

The organisation of sea burials is a coordination-intensive service process with numerous individual steps, participating parties and documentation requirements.

Information was managed across e-mails, spreadsheets and individual documents. The processing status of an order was not always transparent, and coordination happened manually. As order volume grew, coordination overhead, error rates and internal communication needs increased. A scalable, central solution for the structured mapping of all processes was required.
